David Baustert

David Baustert is a seasoned Plant Manager currently overseeing an Electron Beam Sterilization facility at STERIS since March 2022, specializing in medical device services. Prior experience includes serving as Division Quality Manager at Matthews International, where management of Quality Assurance Programs spanned four manufacturing facilities from January 2016 to March 2022. David also held the role of Plant Manager at Resco Products, Inc., focusing on refractory product production for the Steel Mill industry, and as Manufacturing Operations Manager at Westinghouse Electric Company, managing nuclear fuel production operations. Additional roles have included Operations Manager positions at Beaver Steel Services, Inc., and Pine Run Pools and Spas, as well as earlier experience in production supervision and engineering at Allegheny Ludlum and military service as First Lieutenant in the 65th Engineer Battalion. David holds an MBA in Management from Point Park University and a BS in Structural Design and Construction Engineering Technology along with an AS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Penn State University.
