Herbert Brown

Herbert Brown is an experienced executive with a diverse background in lean enterprise strategies and operational leadership. Currently serving as Vice President of Lean Enterprise at STERIS Corporation since April 2011, Herbert Brown sets the strategic direction for the corporation's lean transformation efforts. Previously, as Director of Medical Team Consulting at TBM Consulting Group from 2003 to 2011, Herbert Brown led a consulting team focused on implementing lean strategies for medical and pharmaceutical clients. Additionally, Herbert Brown served as President and CEO of Blue Giant Equipment Corporation from 2001 to 2003, where responsibilities included P&L, product development, and marketing for a Canadian manufacturer of material handling equipment. Herbert Brown holds an MBA from Quincy University and a BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the US Merchant Marine Academy.
