Lauren Smith

Lauren Smith has extensive experience in talent acquisition and employer engagement, currently serving as the Lead Talent Acquisition Partner at STERIS since October 2017, following previous roles as Senior Talent Acquisition Partner and Talent Acquisition Partner II within the same organization. Prior to STERIS, Lauren worked at The University of Alabama at Birmingham as the Assistant Director of Employer Engagement in the Collat School of Business and as an Employer Relations Specialist. Additionally, Lauren has a background in advertising and marketing from Edgar's Bakery and Café and has experience in recruitment from NuWest Group and as a Collegiate Development Consultant with Delta Gamma. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing from the University of Montevallo.
