Silas Smith is an experienced operations leader with a comprehensive background in manufacturing and supply chain management. Currently serving as Director at STERIS since September 2020, Silas previously held roles including Operations Manager and Business Unit Manager at Avery Dennison, where responsibilities included overseeing coating and material handling processes while driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Prior experience includes managerial positions at Roche Diagnostics and Nestlé, where Silas significantly contributed to resource planning and the development of a major manufacturing facility, respectively.
