Candace C.

Candace C. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Candace started their career in 2004 as a Teaching Assistant and later became a Teaching Fellow at the University of Houston. During this time, they maintained teaching integrity and designed costumes and sets for esteemed venues.

In 2006, Candace worked as a Customer Service Advisor for Chase at Sitel, where they managed credit card accounts and improved employee morale and retention as a team "fishmonger."

In 2008, they interned at KPMG Advisory as an Internal Audit and Regulatory Compliance Intern. Candace expedited the production of deliverables and developed a spreadsheet for testing payroll and expense systems.

Candace then joined the University of Oklahoma as a Graduate Assistant from 2008 to 2010, where they supported various academic responsibilities.

From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Audit Associate at Ernst & Young, leading engagements for clients in the oil and gas services industry.

Candace joined LGI Homes in 2014 as a Process and Controls Analyst, focusing on process improvement and controls.

Since 2016, they have been associated with Sterling Infrastructure, Inc. In their roles, they have been responsible for SOX Compliance, including being a Director and Manager. Candace drafted and EDGARized financial reports, reviewed XBRL work, and implemented Workiva for financial reporting.

Candace C. pursued their education at several institutions, starting with their undergraduate studies at Hendrix College from 1999 to 2003. There, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Theatre and a minor in History.

Subsequently, they attended the University of Houston from 2003 to 2006, where they pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree with a specialization in Theatre Design.

Afterward, Candace furthered their education by enrolling at the University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business from 2007 to 2009. During this time, they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree, focusing on Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurship.
