John Beres

John Beres is an accomplished insurance executive with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Business Officer and Director of Client Services & Development at SterlingRisk since September 2017, John previously held the position of Executive Vice President and Director of Client Services & Development at Alliant Insurance Services from April 2012 to March 2017. In this role, responsibilities included broad operational oversight for Alliant Americas, covering regions and establishing strategic initiatives. Before that, John served as Executive Vice President at Alliant Insurance Services, where a focus was placed on transitioning the Commercial Insurance Division into a decentralized and entrepreneurial culture. Prior to Alliant, John was the Chief Operating Officer at T&H Group Inc. from 1985 to 2012. Educational credentials include a BA in History from Clark University, obtained between 1981 and 1985, and attendance at Ethical Culture Fieldston School from 1978 to 1981.
