Your money problems probably aren't math problems. They're emotional problems.

Steve is the AI financial coach that helps millennials build better money habits by breaking the guilt-spending-avoidance cycle.

💙 The Pattern We're Breaking:

Most Americans make financial decisions driven by emotions, not logic. Here's what happens:

1. You spend on something you "shouldn't"
2. You feel guilty and ashamed
3. You avoid looking at your accounts
4. The avoidance makes everything worse
5. Repeat

Traditional apps track what you spent and make you feel guilty. Then you stop using the app. Sound familiar?

🧠 How Steve Is Different:

We use AI + behavioral psychology to help you understand WHY you spend, so you can actually change HOW you spend.

Steve helps you:
- Identify emotional triggers behind your spending
- Break the guilt-avoidance cycle
- Build better habits through positive reinforcement (not shame)
- Make smarter decisions in real-time

Think of it as therapy for your wallet—available 24/7.

⚡ Why This Matters:

Budgeting apps focus on the math. We focus on the psychology. You can understand compound interest and still struggle to save because money decisions are emotional decisions.

💪 Our Approach:
✓ Forward-looking, not backward-looking
✓ Understanding WHY, not just tracking WHAT
✓ Building habits, not budgets
✓ No judgment. No guilt. Just progress.

🔒 Security: Bank-level encryption via Plaid (same as Venmo and Robinhood)
