Davin Berrill

Davin Berrill has extensive work experience in various industries. Davin is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Steve Madden, where they oversee the finance, admin, IT, legal, and supply chain departments in South Africa and Namibia. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Forever New Clothing, a fashion brand with stores in 14 countries.

Before their role at Forever New, Davin was a Partner at Salt Hospitality Consultants, where they oversaw various projects related to franchising, finance, feasibility, analysis, and capability. Davin also served as the Chief Operating Officer at Dunkin' Donuts South Africa, managing and developing the brand in the country.

Davin's experience also includes working as the Financial Director at Burger King South Africa, contributing to the growth of over 100 restaurants. Davin has also held the positions of General Manager and Financial Director at Cape Town Fish Market, overseeing the management and operation of multiple restaurants.

Prior to their roles in the hospitality industry, Davin worked as the General Manager at Trafalgar Property and Financial Services, specializing in residential letting, property management, and financial services. Davin started their career as a Finance Manager at Balfour Beatty plc, a company involved in government projects.

Davin also had a brief stint as an Executive in Transaction Services at PwC, where they assisted companies with acquisitions, divestitures, strategic alliances, and access to global capital markets.

Throughout their career, Davin has demonstrated leadership and expertise in finance, operations, strategy, and business development across various industries.

Davin Berrill's education history begins with their matriculation from Edgemead High School in 1994. Davin then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree in Business/Commerce, General from the University of Cape Town, which they completed in 1998.

Following this, in 2002, Davin attended SAICA for a brief period to obtain a professional certification as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)), specializing in Accounting and Finance.
