Guy Smith

Programming Writer at Steyer Content

Guy Smith is a retired individual with forty years of full-time employment, including twenty years in the software industry. During their career, Guy worked as a Programming Writer at Steyer Associates and Microsoft, contributing to various SDK teams and managing documentation for DirectX 8. Prior to their work in software, Guy was an Associate Professor of Geophysics at St. Louis University, where Guy taught courses and conducted research in rock magnetism and paleomagnetism. Guy holds a PhD in Geophysics from the University of Washington and a BA in Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Guy has also co-authored a book titled "Developing Drivers with the Windows Driver Foundation."
