Adrian Hines

Adrian Hines is an experienced leader in scientific and technical teams, focusing on research and development in weather and climate science. They worked on ocean modeling and data assimilation early in their career and subsequently led teams developing coupled models for weather forecasting and climate prediction. Currently, Adrian serves as the Director of JASMIN at the Science and Technology Facilities Council, overseeing data analysis for the environmental science community. They also held positions as a Visiting Professor at the University of Leeds and as an Honorary Professor at the University of Exeter. In addition to their professional endeavors, Adrian actively contributes to education as the Vice-Chair of Trustees for Education South West and Chair of Governors for three primary schools.
