Anton Lawrence

Anton Lawrence is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Interim Director of Digital Infrastructure at STFC. With a solid academic background that includes a BSc in Geology with Earth's Resources from the University of Gloucestershire and an MSc in Computing in Earth Sciences from Keele University, Anton has held various roles in the IT sector. Previously, they were the Head of Information Technology Operations at STFC and have experience as a Business Applications Group Leader at Diamond Light Source. Anton's early career included positions as a Database Specialist and IT Operations Manager, contributing to significant projects like the EPIS databank for the Egyptian General Petroleum Company.
