Bryan Jones

Bryan Jones is the Head of Accelerator Performance Improvement at STFC, a position they currently hold. Previously, they served as the Section Leader for Front-end and Magnets at the European Spallation Source ERIC from 2020 to 2023, where they managed a team and coordinated installation and testing of accelerator components. From 2005 to 2020, Bryan worked as an Accelerator Physicist at the Science and Technology Facilities Council, leading efforts to optimize accelerator performance and conduct experiments for high-intensity upgrades. They also gained experience at CERN and TRIUMF and volunteered as a Steward Supervisor for Oxfam, supporting festival operations. Bryan holds a Master’s Degree in Physics from the University of Liverpool.
