Dan Faircloth

Low Energy Beams Group Leader

Dan Faircloth is a seasoned professional in electrical and electronic engineering, having earned a BEng (Hons), MSc, and PhD from UMIST between 1992 and 1999. They served as a Research Engineer at National Grid from 1999 to 2002 and held various roles at STFC, culminating as the Low Energy Beams Group Leader from 2004 to 2014. Dan also contributed as an Ion Source Section Leader and Senior Research Engineer during their tenure at STFC. Currently, they continue their work in the field, leading advancements in low energy beam technologies.
