Erik Johnson CEng

Erik Johnson CEng is currently the Instrument Operations Group Leader at the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source, STFC, where they lead a team of approximately 20 Technicians in the engineering support for neutron and muon beamlines. Erik's career began with a Bachelor's degree in Physics from The University of Sheffield, followed by a Master's degree in Engineering Research from the University of Reading. They have held various roles at STFC since 2012, including Installation Manager and Instrument Support Section Leader, where Erik managed complex projects and ensured compliance with legislation. Prior to STFC, they worked as a Research and Development Technician at Johnson Matthey.
