Gemma Curtis

Gemma Curtis has extensive experience in research and project management, particularly in the fields of animal health and welfare. Holding a Ph.D. in Animal Health and Nutrition from the University of Liverpool, Gemma has worked as a Research Associate on KTP projects and served as a lecturer at Reaseheath College and Liverpool John Moores University, teaching various biology and animal welfare modules. Currently, Gemma is a Portfolio & Programme Manager at STFC Hartree Centre, managing a diverse range of grant-funded and commercial projects. Additional credentials include an MBA with Distinction and several project management certifications. Prior roles include laboratory analysis and field sales within the equine industry.
