George Madden

George Madden is the Associate Director of Skills and Digital Research Infrastructure at The Science and Technology Facilities Council, a position held since 2025, and is currently an accredited Infrastructure and Projects Authority Assurance Reviewer. Previously, George worked in various roles at the Science and Technology Facilities Council, including Senior Programme Manager for Accelerators and e-Infrastructure and Programme Manager for Nuclear Physics and Particle Astrophysics. George began their career as an Analytical Chemist at Butterworth Laboratories and AstraZeneca, gaining expertise in data analysis and regulatory compliance. George holds a Master of Chemistry with First Class Honours from the University of Sheffield.
