Haroon Rafique

Haroon Rafique is a Senior Accelerator Physicist at STFC, specializing in the operation and optimization of particle accelerators. Previously, Haroon served as a Senior Fellow at CERN, where they focused on space charge studies and the development of simulation tools while mentoring students. Haroon completed a PhD in Accelerator Physics at the University of Huddersfield and holds an MPhys in Physics from the University of Manchester. With over 20 years of experience, Haroon has also been active in educational outreach and coaching basketball at various levels.
