Ian Collier

Ian Collier is currently the Scientific Computing Group Leader at STFC, where they lead a team in developing and managing global research computing services. They have previously held various roles at Wolfram and worked as an Energy Advice Worker at the Urban Centre for Appropriate Technology. Ian served as a Senior System Administrator at STFC and was also the chair of the WLCG's Grid Deployment Board from 2016 to 2020. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Imperial College London and a PGCE in Science from The University of Manchester.
