Katherine Rooke is the Head of Programmes for DRI at STFC, a position held since 2025. They previously served as a Research Grants Manager at Alzheimer's Society from 2021 to 2023, and as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Manager at EPSRC from 2009 to 2012. Katherine has also worked as a Fellowship Advisor for the Daphne Jackson Trust from 2014 to 2016 and as a Research Facilitator for Chemistry at the University of Oxford from 2016 to 2021. They earned an MChem in Chemistry with Industrial Experience from the University of Bath and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from the School of Pharmacy, U. of London.
