Mark Bason is a Quantum Researcher at RAL Space within the STFC, a position held since 2021. Prior to this, Mark served as a Research Fellow at the University of Sussex from 2017 to 2021 and was a Marie Curie Fellow at Aarhus University from 2012 to 2015. Mark also acts as the Honorary Secretary for the Quantum Optics, Quantum Information and Quantum Control Group Committee at the Institute of Physics since 2019, focusing on promoting quantum physics through organizing various events. Mark earned a PhD in Quantum Physics from Durham University in 2010, following an MSci in Physics from Imperial College London in 2005.
