Michelle Smith

Michelle Smith has a diverse background in education and apprenticeship coordination, having served as a primary school teacher and senior leader at Tarleton Community Primary from September 1999 to October 2022. In this role, Michelle held positions as Curriculum and Maths Lead and class teacher. Michelle also worked as a maths consultant for Lancashire County Council in early 2005. In July 2023, Michelle joined THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FACILITIES COUNCIL as a Senior Apprenticeship Coordinator. Academically, Michelle earned a BA Hons in History and Sociology from the University of Manchester and a PGCE in Primary Education from Manchester Metropolitan University.
