Nick Webb is an innovative mechanical design, project, and motion engineer currently serving as the Instrument Design Team Section Leader at STFC. With extensive experience in designing complex motion control systems, Nick has successfully managed large-scale projects, including the development of beamline block house internals at the ISIS neutron science facility. Prior to this role, Nick held positions such as Senior Mechatronics and Automation Design and Project Engineer and Mechanical Engineering Section Leader, focusing on the motion control aspects for the ESS project. Nick earned a First-Class degree from Buckinghamshire New University between 2010 and 2014.
