Robin Pinning

Robin Pinning is currently the Chief Technology Officer at the Hartree Centre, where they lead the vision and technical strategy for advancing high-performance computing and data science applications. Previously, Robin worked at the University of Manchester in several roles, including HPC consultant, Grid Software Engineer, and N8 HPC Associate Technical Director, where they supported research collaborations and managed technical operations for high-performance computing initiatives. Robin has also served as Research IT External Services Manager and Team Leader for the e-Science group, overseeing computational science support and research data management. Their extensive experience in innovative research and collaborative projects positions them as a key figure in advancing technology and research capabilities.
