Seb Oliver is currently the Associate Dean of Research and Innovation at the University of Sussex, where they also direct the Data Intensive Science Centre. With a robust academic background in astrophysics, they have authored approximately 280 papers, amassing around 20,000 citations. Previously, they served as a professor and managed several significant research projects, including a European Space Agency mission involving over 100 researchers.
