Simon C.

Simon C. is an experienced Materials Group Leader at STFC, with a strong background in scientific research and materials testing. They have led the development and manufacturing of composite and polymeric materials for demanding environments, contributing to significant projects such as ITER, CERN, and the James Webb Space Telescope. Simon holds a BSc Hons in Materials and Innovation from The Open University and a BTEC HNC in Polymer Technology from Trowbridge College. Prior to their current role, Simon worked as a Project Engineer, focusing on composite materials for notable space missions, and began their career as a Technician at WRc.
