Sinead Farrington

Sinead Farrington is the Director of the Particle Physics Department at STFC and a Professor of Experimental Particle Physics at the University of Edinburgh. They have held roles as a User and Scientific Associate at CERN from 2006 to 2014, and previously served as an STFC Advanced Fellow at the University of Oxford from 2007 to 2011. Currently, Sinead is also a member of the New York Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Physics, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. Their research includes significant contributions to the ATLAS and CDF experiments, focusing on Higgs searches and particle decay processes.
