Wei Wang is a Senior Computational Scientist at Daresbury Laboratory, STFC, UKRI, specializing in Computational Fluids Dynamics (CFD). Wei has extensive expertise in programming and modeling pertaining to turbulence and heat transfer in highly compressed fluids, with applications in the energy sector and mass spectrometry. With rich skills in high performance computing and parallel programming, Wei has managed projects that combine strategic planning and budget management. Previously, Wei served as a Knowledge Transfer Partnerships Associate at Waters Corporation and has held roles as a Research Associate and Visiting Scholar at The University of Sheffield. Wei earned a PhD in flow control studies from The University of Sheffield and holds a Master’s degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Bachelor's degree from Tongji University.
