James Salinas, CISSP has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. James started their career in 1990 as an Assistant Software Developer at Packaging Service Co., Inc., where they quickly gained expertise in programming and maintaining in-house software. James was later promoted to MIS Department Manager, where they upgraded computer equipment and led the migration to PC-compatible workstations.

In 1996, James joined Adosea Technologies / Cybercom Corp and took on the role of a PC Support Technician. James built and maintained custom computer systems for various clients, including Texas A&M University departments. James then became the RMA Officer, handling diagnostics and product returns, and eventually served as the Wireless Department Manager. In this role, they configured wireless equipment and ensured network security using AES encryption.

From 2006, James joined Sexing Technologies as the Director of Information Technologies. James oversaw the implementation, use, and maintenance of technology in the company, working closely with IT staff to address user needs. James led efforts to improve the secure and effective use of technology and implemented security operations, including incident investigations, disaster recovery, and monitoring data access. Additionally, they implemented policies and procedures for asset security throughout the company.

James Salinas, CISSP, obtained an Associate's degree in Microcomputer Programming from Control Data Institute Houston in the year 1989. James has also acquired multiple additional certifications including IBM Blockchain Essentials and IBM Blockchain Foundation Developer from IBM in May 2018. Furthermore, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in April 2019.
