Steven Biester

Steven Biester has extensive work experience in marketing and management roles. Steven is currently the Global Managing Director of Marketing at SThree since February 2024. Prior to this, they held the position of Global Head of Marketing at IMC Trading from October 2019 to February 2024. Before that, they served as the Global Head of Marketing & Communication at Brunel from May 2015 to August 2019 and also worked as a Marketing Manager for the Volvo Ocean Race during that period. Steven had several interim marketing manager roles at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., including Florius and Moneyou, from August 2010 to October 2013. Before that, they were a Marketing Manager at ING Nederland from April 2006 to August 2010, where they developed digital strategies and introduced new products. Steven began their career as a Product Marketing Manager at Westcon Benelux from May 2004 to April 2006, where they managed marketing activities and implemented campaigns for various IT brands.

Steven Biester has a diverse educational background. Steven completed a Digital Marketing Strategy program from IMD in 2018. Steven also attended INSEAD in 2018, where they studied Macro economics and indicators for future growth. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Marketing degree from Tilburg University's TIAS Business School between 2006 and 2009. Steven also pursued Economics studies at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and Maastricht University in 1998 and 1997 respectively. Steven'ssecondary education was at Baudartius College, where they obtained a VWO degree from 1991 to 1997. In terms of certifications, they received a Prosperity Trading Talent certification in 2023 from IMC Trading. Additionally, they hold certifications in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Product Owner, PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training, and Google Analytics.
