Michael Lawson

Michael Lawson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Michael started their career as a Technical Installer in the United States Air Force, where they performed ground radio and satellite communication system installation and maintenance. Michael then became a Technical Training Instructor at the Community College of the Air Force, teaching satellite communications and other related subjects.

Following that, Michael worked as a Telecommunications Manager for the White House Communications Agency, overseeing communications systems and managing integrated teams of national security and cybersecurity experts. Michael then transitioned to the role of Senior Telecommunications Manager at The White House, where they were responsible for all aspects of communications in the White House Situation Room, supporting national security processes and intelligence fusion.

Michael later joined Air Force Space Command as a Technology Integration Manager, leading a cross-functional team in telecommunications systems modernization, including the implementation of satellite communication networks. Michael also served as the Director of Operations, directing SATCOM and VHF radio network operations in multiple locations.

After their work at Air Force Space Command, Michael became a Principal Owner of Remote C2, a company specializing in remote control and surveillance systems. Michael then joined Infinity Systems Engineering as a Senior Military Operations Analyst, providing expertise in SATCOM international agreements and partnerships.

Currently, Michael is a Senior Military Operations Analyst at Solutions Through Innovative Technologies, Inc., where they serve as an International Partner SATCOM Agreements Subject Matter Expert for the United States Space Force. Michael supports the management of military satellite operations link budgeting and reporting for international partners and provides expertise in the effective implementation and management of current and future SATCOM international partnerships.

Michael Lawson has a diverse education history. Michael obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business between 2018 and 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Information Technology & Telecommunications Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 2002 to 2006. In addition, they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Instructor of Technology and Military Science from the Community College of the Air Force between 1998 and 2003.
