Stichting 911Events' aim is to organize events for owners of Porsche sports cars. To these events, one or more charities are linked. Since 2010 Stichting 911Events raises funds for the Ronald McDonald Foundation.
Stichting 911Events was founded by the 6-member volunteer organization that started in 2007 with the Porsche Frisian Elfstedentocht. The event has grown extremely with over 170 Porsche equipes and the need was there to get a more official status. Besides the Porsche Frisian Elfstedentocht Stichting 911Events also organizes other Porsche events such as the yearly Snertrit and Krokusrit but also the Kurvenroute, international events and driving experiences. On yearly basis more then 500 Porsche equipes join the driving events of 911Events.
Stichting 911Events cooperates with Pon Porsche Dealer Group and the Dutch Porsche Centers from which Porsche Centrum Groningen is the main sponsor.
