Anouk Boonstra

Anouk Boonstra is a PhD candidate at the MHeNs Research Institute of Universiteit Maastricht, focusing on youth mental health and care accessibility since September 2021. Anouk also serves as a teacher in Health Sciences at FHML and an external PhD candidate, while working as a psychologist at Stichting @ease, providing free and anonymous support to youth aged 12 to 25. Previous experience includes a psychologist role at Oh My Mood Nederland, specializing in individual treatment approaches, and conducting psycho-oncology research during a master's program at Leiden University Medical Center, culminating in a highly rated thesis. Anouk co-founded the Wellbeing Movement at Universiteit Maastricht, enhancing student mental health initiatives, and has held positions in public relations and leadership within various educational organizations. Anouk completed a Master's degree in Health & Medical Psychology at Leiden University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Maastricht University, along with prior studies in Art Therapy.
