OOOpvoeden is a non-profit initiative dedicated to strengthening the mental health of children by empowering the people who matter most: their parents.

We develop accessible, evidence-based parenting support with a strong focus on prevention, long-term impact and social inclusion. By combining insights from behavioral science and lived experience, we aim to help parents build stronger relationships, navigate challenges, and foster resilience in their families.

Our work is guided by the principles of effective altruism. This means we focus on cost-effective solutions to problems that are Sizable, Solvable, and Sorely neglected (3S Framework). All our materials are open access and free to use under a Creative Commons license, because we believe that knowledge that can help others should be shared widely.
