Anxiety can severely limit daily life. Sometimes visibly, often not. 

Stichting VALK specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, with unique expertise within the aviation industry. 

We combine psychological treatment with practical experience in and around flying. This includes fear of flying, but also other forms of anxiety where control, tension, or avoidance play a role. 

Our approach is based on cognitive behavioral therapy and exposure: step by step, with attention to what someone needs to confront their fear rather than avoid it. 

What characterizes us is the combination of substantive knowledge, practice-oriented training, and collaboration with partners such as Schiphol, KLM, and Leiden University. 

We do not believe in 'overcoming' fear, but in increasing control and learning to cope with anxiety.
