Anders Vangsgaard Nielsen has a strong background in engineering and has worked primarily in the wind power industry. Anders Vangsgaard started their career at Siemens Wind Power in 2002, where they held various engineering roles, including Team Leader for Load Calculations and R&D Specialist for Load Calculations. Anders Vangsgaard then progressed to become a Chief Engineer and Head of System Integration, responsible for ensuring engineering solutions on module and turbine levels. Anders Vangsgaard also served as the D3 Platform Chief Engineer, overseeing technical solutions on the D3 turbine platform. In 2016, they joined Siemens Gamesa, where they initially took on the role of Platform Chief Engineer for the Next Generation Offshore Platform. Later, they became the Chief Engineer for System Integration and Technology, and they held this position until 2021. Currently, they are working as the Head of Engineering for Stiesdal Hydrogen, a role they assumed in December 2021.
Anders Vangsgaard Nielsen attended Aalborg University from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Civil Engineering. During their time at the university, they specialized in Structural Engineering, completing a field of study in the same subject area.
