David Thomson has over 34 years of experience in the investment industry, beginning his career in 1986. Currently serving as First Vice President/Investments and Branch Manager at Stifel Financial Corp. since September 2009, David has guided clients through various market conditions, including bull and bear markets, and economic cycles. Prior to joining Stifel, David held the position of Vice President/Investments at UBS from December 2002 until its acquisition by Stifel in 2009. David also served as Vice President/Investments at Merrill Lynch from 1986 to 2002. David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance from Georgia Southern University, where studies were completed from 1976 to 1981.
