Derek Herbert

Derek Herbert is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in investment banking and financial services. Currently serving as Managing Director at Stifel Financial Corp. since 2012, Derek joined the firm following its acquisition of Miller Buckfire, where Derek held the position of Director from 2009 to 2012. Prior to this, Derek was a Vice President in the Media & Communications Group within the Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley from 2005 to 2009. Additional experience includes roles as an Associate at Monitor Clipper Partners (2002 - 2004) and Monitor Group (1999 - 2002), as well as an Analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (1998 - 2000). Derek obtained a degree from Harvard University, completing studies there between 1994 and 1998.
