Jonathan Risting

Jonathan Risting serves as Managing Director of Investment Banking at Stifel Financial Corp. since September 2012, specializing in Diversified Industrials with a focus on sectors such as Capital Goods and Vehicle Electrification. Over this tenure, Jonathan has successfully completed more than 80 transactions totaling over $40 billion in deal value, which includes a wide range of financial services like M&A, debt financing, and IPOs for various clients including sponsor-backed and publicly traded companies. Prior positions at Stifel include Director, Vice President, Associate, and Analyst within the Investment Banking division. Jonathan's early experience includes a role as a Laboratory Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Cancer Biology and a summer stint as an Investment Banking Analyst at Cain Brothers & Company, LLC. Jonathan holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance from The Wharton School and Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
