Mark Averyt

Mark Averyt is an accomplished investment professional currently serving as Managing Director and Investment Grade Credit Analyst at Stifel Financial Corp. since June 2015. Prior experience includes serving as Sr Vice President, Insurance & Healthcare Credit Analyst at Sterne Agee from 2009 to June 2015, and as Director of Investor Relations at Protective Life from 2008 to 2009. Mark's career began in the US Navy from 1999 to 2006, where leadership roles included Lieutenant and Surface Warfare Officer, involving tactical and strategic decision-making aboard ships and at shore commands. Mark holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia, as well as having attended Washington and Lee University.
