Rakesh Contractor

Rakesh Contractor, CIMA®, is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in financial services. Currently serving as the Director of Investments and Chief Investment Officer at Stifel Financial Corp. since August 2010, Rakesh oversees the investment strategy and asset allocation for trust investments, while also chairing the Trust Investment Committee. Prior to Stifel, Rakesh held the position of Vice President and Investment Manager at Wells Fargo, where responsibilities included portfolio management for high net worth clients and institutions. Rakesh's career began at Wachovia and continued at Evergreen Investments, where various analysis and specialist roles were undertaken. Rakesh holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
