Spinalis är en allmännyttig stiftelse, vars huvudmål är att främja forskning och behandlingsutveckling inom ryggmärgsskadeområdet.

The Spinalis Foundation was founded in 1989 with the mission to initiate and support research and methods to help people with spinal cord injury (SCI) live a fulfilling everyday life.

Funding is raised from several sources, companies, individuals as well as from other foundations. Our medical research projects are closely linked to the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. The Foundation has also been instrumental in opening SCI units in Botswana and Namibia as well as building networks online to strengthen the SCI community.
