STIGA RM Ltd., founded in 1994, is one of the leading forestry companies in Latvia. Latvia, being the 4th most forest-covered country in Europe, is recognized for its thriving plywood industry, particularly the well-known Baltic birch. Historically, STIGA RM Ltd.'s core businesses were in forestry, logging, and timber transportation. However, since 2016, the company has shifted its primary focus to birch plywood production and sales, becoming a global supplier in this field. STIGA RM Ltd. has invested €38 million into its plywood business, equipping its facilities with advanced Raute production lines.
