Alberto Basso

Alberto Basso has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Alberto is currently serving as the Managing Director at STIGA Ibérica since September 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President Product Marketing at the same company from September 2018 to August 2020. From August 2013 to August 2018, they worked as the Group Product Management Director at STIGA. Before joining STIGA, Alberto was associated with Global Garden Products Italy S.p.A as the Head of Product Management from September 2011 to August 2012 and as the Senior Category Manager for Walk-Behind Mowers from June 2008 to August 2011. Alberto also worked at GGP Group, where they held the positions of Area Manager for Russia and former SU from September 2003 to May 2008, and Area Manager for the Mediterranean Region from September 2000 to August 2003. Alberto began their career at Castelgarden SpA, where they held various roles including Junior Area Manager for Overseas Regions from September 1996 to August 2000 and Customer Service Sales Specialist from January 1994 to August 1996. Prior to their professional career, Alberto worked as a Receptionist and Customer Care executive at Luxury Camp at Union Lido from April 1993 to September 1993.

Alberto Basso completed an Executive Education Program in Driving Business Strategies at London Business School in 2015. Prior to that, they pursued an Executive MBA in International Management at CIMBA from 2004 to 2005. Alberto's education began with earning a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Istituto Tecnico Statale G. Mazzotti, between 1987 and 1992.
