Federico Morra

Federico Morra has extensive experience in procurement and purchasing roles. Federico started their career at Iveco, where they worked as Technical and Quality Resp. from 1988 to 1994. Federico then joined Visteon as a Project Manager and later became the Purchasing Director for Italy from 1994 to 1999. After that, they served as the Purchasing Director at Bertone, a niche car manufacturer, from 2000 to 2005.

From 2005 to 2008, Morra worked as the Southern Europe Purchasing Director at Ahlstrom, responsible for purchasing operations in Italy, Spain, and France. Federico then moved to Selmat Automotive as the Purchasing Director, overseeing the purchasing of direct and indirect materials, production tools, and equipment from 2008 to 2012.

Morra joined Lavazza in 2012 as the Chief Procurement Officer, leading a team of 38 people in headquarters and purchasing referents in foreign subsidiaries. Federico was responsible for global spend and focused on building a global organization, defining and managing category strategies, and improving IT systems for supplier relationship management. After several acquisitions and company reorganization in 2019, they became the Head of Group Purchasing Governance and Global Purchasing Director for Industrial purchasing, Logistics, Coffee Machines, and Capital Investment until 2021.

Currently, Morra is working at SWM International, where they serve as the Direct Procurement Director - Engineered Papers. In this role, they are responsible for direct and indirect materials, capital investments, ocean and road freight, and utilities. Federico leads a team of 17 people and focuses on developing the procurement organization, reinforcing category management, executing cost-saving plans, and developing dynamic reporting.

Federico Morra attended Galileo Ferraris - Istituto Sociale from 1977 to 1981. Federico then pursued mechanical engineering at Politecnico di Torino from 1982 to 1988.
