Robert Olma

Robert Olma is an experienced professional in regulatory affairs and governmental relations, currently serving as Vice President of Global Governmental Affairs at STIHL since September 2021. Prior to this role, Robert held the position of Director at EUTOP Group from August 2012 to August 2021, where strategic direction was defined and business expansion into new markets was spearheaded. Robert's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Consultant, managing key accounts and implementing government affairs strategies, as well as Head of Office at EU.select GmbH, where company strategy and new business models were developed. Significant experience was also gained at the Europäisches Parlament, where legislative texts were developed and compromises negotiated on animal health and food safety as Head of Office for a leading committee member. Robert's educational background includes a Master's degree in European Studies from The University of Bonn and a Master of Arts from The University of Göttingen, along with additional studies at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and the University of Münster.
