Samuel Schmid has work experience in various roles at different companies. Samuel worked at STIHL from 2011 to 2015 as an Assembly Process Planner. Then, from 2015 to 2017, they worked at Zama Corporation Limited as a Section Manager for Pilot Coordination. Returning to STIHL in 2017, they held the role of Function Manager for Supplier Quality Engineering Carburetor Systems until 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Function Manager for Quality Assurance Processes and Project Management at STIHL. Currently, Samuel is the Director Global Process Owner Quality at STIHL, starting from August 2021.
Samuel Schmid obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from Hochschule Esslingen - University of Applied Sciences between the years 2008 and 2011. Samuel then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Prozessmanagement from Nürtingen-Geislingen University (HfWU) from 2013 to 2015. Later, in 2018 and 2019, they completed a program in Quality Manager and Quality Engineer with a specialization in Qualitätssicherungstechnik/Techniker at the Institute of Distance Learning - Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Technology. Additionally, Samuel Schmid also acquired an Industriemechaniker für Geräte und Feinwerktechnik qualification from ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co. KG between 2003 and 2006.
