Jonathan Champion

Jonathan Champion is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in management and business growth. Currently serving as Managing Director at Stingray since July 2017, Jonathan is responsible for leading and strategically expanding the regional business while overseeing all aspects of the ANZ operation. Prior to this role, Jonathan held the position of General Manager at SMA Entertainment from April 2008 to July 2017, where responsibilities included managing a business unit owned by Fairfax Media and identifying growth opportunities during its transition to Fairfax Radio and subsequently Macquarie Media. Jonathan’s career also includes roles as General Manager at InSite Retail Marketing, General Manager Group Business at Network Services, Senior Project Manager at The Warehouse Group, and General Manager at United Colors of Benetton. Earlier professional experiences include positions as Import Manager at Seymour International and Business Manager at Gordon And Gotch. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Charles Sturt University, earned between 1989 and 1992.
