Ryan Hobson

Ryan Hobson's work experience includes:

- National Director of Digital Content at Stingray, where they curated content for Stingray Radio digital properties and provided direction to local programming teams across Canada. Ryan also led the creation of design elements for programming and promotions.

- Western Canada Digital Content Director at Stingray, where they worked closely with the Programming teams for BC & Alberta Newcap radio stations to engage and grow the audience. Ryan developed strategic solutions using their in-depth understanding of the fast-paced radio advertising landscape.

- Senior Digital Content Producer at Newcap Radio, where they created, published, and monitored content for all three Newcap Radio Vancouver stations.

- Interactive Content Manager at Corus Entertainment, where they oversaw and maximized content creation and the overall online experience for Corus Radio Vancouver's interactive properties. Ryan managed the Interactive team, coordinated e-newsletters, and produced radio interview and performance videos.

- Interactive Content Coordinator at Corus Entertainment, where they were responsible for the online presence of all four Corus Radio Vancouver websites.

- Shipping/Receiver Supervisor and Customer Experience Manager at Indigo, where they supervised staff and managed daily cash flow.

- Recycling Coordinator at Adanac Recovery, where they sorted recycling materials for distribution, supervised staff, and budgeted daily cash float.

Ryan Hobson attended Brentwood College School from 1995 to 1998, where they earned a High School Diploma with a field of study in English. From 2000 to 2002, they attended Camosun College and studied English Language and Literature. In 2002, they transferred to Columbia Academy and pursued a degree in Communications, specifically Broadcasting, until 2003. In March 2017, Ryan obtained a Social Marketing Certification from Hootsuite.
