Scott Mitchell

Scott Mitchell is an experienced broadcasting professional currently serving as the Rural Alberta Assistant Program Director at Stingray since July 2014. In this role, responsibilities include overseeing daily operations for multiple stations, music scheduling, conducting interviews, and collaborating with programming teams. Additionally, Scott is the Morning Show Host for New Country 98.1, providing local news and community content. As HOT Network Music Director, duties encompass hosting a midday show, preparing music logs, and conducting music research. Since October 2023, Scott has also been the In-Game Host/Game Day Coordinator for the Camrose Kodiaks Jr. A Hockey Club, focusing on enhancing fan experiences. Previously, Scott worked as a Weekend Host/Production Assistant at 102.1 CJCY, where various tasks included hosting shows and managing live broadcasts. Scott holds a broadcasting degree from Western Academy Broadcasting College.
