Amit Kumar has been a Senior Manager at STIR Education since June 2014, focusing on creating opportunities and partnerships to advance the 'Teacher Changemakers' movement in India. In this role, Amit identifies and invites committed teachers to become Teacher Changemaker 'Fellows' after completing their initial journey with the organization. Prior to this, Amit served as a Gandhi Fellow at the Kaivalya Education Foundation from July 2012 to May 2014, where responsibilities included enhancing the leadership skills of five government school principals and collaborating with local authorities and communities to improve student learning outcomes. Amit holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Rajasthan, completed in 2012, and a Senior Secondary education in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from Vidhya Sagar School Jaipur, completed in 2006.
